Books 4 Crookz is a community based book club that was established in March 2022. We grown to have members from all over! Different counties & different states. Our goal is to learn about all aspects of our cultura. We read books about Chicano Lifestyle, History, Hip Hop History, Prison, Indigenous Stories, Social Justice & Self Transformation. We are not funded or sponsored by anyone so the book club is entirely self funded. On a monthly basis we pay for our own books, our subscription to Zoom for our meetings, events throughout the year, our Street Poetry Night & we have helped eachother pay for travel expenses because some of our members travel from long distances so we can all be together!
